UAA results will account for 60% of the athletes overall evaluation score. The remaining 40% will be accounted for through the Game Play Evaluation (GPE) process. Please refer to FSRA Policy 3000 - Player Evaluation (located on the FSRA website) for detailed information about the evaluation process.
Unlike in previous seasons, there are no ice times prior to the UAA’s.
Ice times will be posted on the master calendar through the season - http://www.fortsaskringette.com/mastercalendar
Team formation will occur upon the completion of evaluations. Rosters will be sent out via email upon completion of team formation.
A few housekeeping notes:
- There are to be NO cellphones or recording devices in dressing rooms [FSRA Policy 1645]. This applies to both parents and players to respect the privacy of others in the dressing room. If you'd like to take a picture of your player, we ask that you please do so in the hallways.
- This is also relevant to player evaluations [FSRA Policy 3000] - There is to be no recording of any on-ice activity during UAAs or Game Play Evaluations.
- [FSRA Policy 1640] states that parents and/or guardians are discouraged from entering the locker and/or change room. We understand that there may be special circumstances, such as age, injury, or disability, where a player may require assistance. In such cases, we kindly ask that you please notify the coach in advance if you intend to assist your child in the dressing room. This will help us maintain privacy and ensure everyone's comfort.
