EARLY REGISTRATION FOR 2008/09 SEASON

Saturday June 7th and Saturday June 21st from 10 a.m. - 4 p.m.
Monday June 16th from 6 p.m. - 9 p.m.

After June 30th players registering in the 2007/08 season will be required to pay the higher registration fees. This includes players who requested refunds and didn’t play for part or all of a previous season.

The breakdown is as follows if you register after October 31, 2007.

Register prior to October 31 – pay 100 % of the registration fee
Register prior to November 30 – pay 90 % of the registration fee
Register prior to January 1 – pay 75 % of the registration fee
Register after December 31 – pay 60 % of the registration fee
No registrations allowed after January 15, 2008

ADDITIONAL FEES (for the 2007/08 Season)

Ways and Means
- Participation Cheque $200.00 per family (dated March 31/08)
- Grey Cup Tickets $50.00 per player
2007 MSA membership $12.00 per family
Please bring your 2007 MSA card to registration if you are already a member.
Pre-season Camp (optional) $50.00 per player (4 ice times all levels) Pre-season training camp will NOT be used for evaluations and/or tiering.
A $25.00 charge will be levied for each NSF cheque.

If you wish to use last year’s participation cheque it will be available at early registration. A $200.00 participation cheque will still be required when registering after the season has begun. Required participation hours and fundraising activities will be decided by the Ways & Means Director. Players not paid in full prior to the beginning of the season will not receive any ice time until full payment is received.

The Ways & Means surcharge collected at registration is to ensure that every family supports the club in fundraising and volunteer activities. The $200.00 post-dated participation cheque will be returned at the end of the season upon performance of fundraising activities or other participation. Some examples of ways to earn participation hours for the Club are:

working the concession at the Chevy games
working on a committee, tournament, fundraising
working the provincial tournament
coach, assistant coach or manager of a team
becoming a member of the executive
special projects
working early registration

PLEASE NOTE THAT DIAMOND RING TOURNAMENT HOURS ARE NOT INCLUDED IN THE PARTICIPATION HOURS.

REFUND POLICY
There is no refund on the MSA membership. Pre-season camp will be refunded if player did not participate at all. There will be no partial refunds for Pre-season camp. The refund policy consists of a percentage of the registration fee only being returned.

The breakdown is as follows:

withdraw by August 31 – 90 % reg fee refunded (10 % kept for admin fee)
withdraw by September 15 – 75% refunded
withdraw by November 15 – 50% refunded
withdraw after November 15 – no refund

All players are required to wear club approved ringette pants and jerseys for games. You will be able to order Fort Saskatchewan Ringette Club pants at early registration.

Any request for specific placement of your child must be received in writing and given to the technical director or division coordinator prior to team evaluations/selections. All requests will be considered individually by the Executive.

If you are interested in coaching complete a form at early registration or contact President, Jim Schwanke at jschwanke@shaw.ca or (780) 998-9485. The FSRA shall strive to complete coaching selections for level A teams prior to early registration.

Please register early so coaching and ice requirements can be determined as early as possible for this coming season.
